Our store and story started, when our family moved to the breathtakingly beautiful Sylvan Lake, with Canada's ravishing Rocky Mountains right at our doorstep.
Being avid wilderness enthusiasts, we loved the idea of sharing the picturesque outdoors with other nature-lovers, adventurists and families. And so the Glamping Dome Store was born.
We’re passionate about nature preservation; thus ALL our domes are eco-conscious and help to protect the environment. They’re also ideal as storage, accomodation, a store, a greenhouse and just perfect for glamping too. So without further ado, welcome to our store, where we help our clients embrace nature responsibly, be it for vacation or permanent living.
Of course your dream of great outdoors, camping or glamping shouldn’t cost you an arm and a leg, because you never know when you may need those limbs out in the wilderness.
That’s why we pride ourselves in our top-notch and ECONOMICAL geodesic domes. What’s more - we’re 100% committed to the highest standard of customer satisfaction, from purchase all the way to delivery.
We'll leave you with the famous words of Sulvia Plath: “I felt my lungs inflate with the onrush of scenery — air, mountains, trees, people, and I thought, this is what it is to be happy”.

I’m Jim and the founder of BOS&S. Before this I was an Industrial Engineer and consultant and spent the last 20+ years working with companies to make things better. I’ve worked in industries from jet engines to service companies to craft breweries. Now I get to work for my own company finding ways to do things better for my customers.
As a kid I can remember spending many hours in my grandfather’s workshop which was a simple wood structure. In that workshop using his lathe and hand tools he created wonderful wooden objects from plant holders to stock cube dispensers, everything he made had to have both form and a useful function. It was in that workshop I developed my love of working with wood and other materials to make things of use. Now working with wood, metal, glass and even plastics I get to create spaces of use where you get to choose what you want to create.

We created ZeroSquared as a solution. We believe we can help people live happier lives with less stress. We can give you comfort, functionality and freedom. Allowing you to downsize without downgrading your life.
When our team first came across tiny homes, we immediately fell in love with the idea of downsizing to achieve a higher quality of life. The more we dove in, the more we recognized the freedom and benefits tiny home owners could avail themselves to. Living in a tiny home was a great way to minimize the stresses of everyday life. Cleaning was easier, repairs were less expensive, not to mention people could actually own their homes and take it with them if/when they moved. We became fascinated so many people could solve so many of their problems by this simple change of lifestyle.
There was only one problem: None of us could actually see ourselves living in any of the tiny homes we saw. All the ones we came across in our research were either too small, or so simplified that most of us would miss major elements of our current housing. The tiny homes we were finding weren’t tailored for people who were used to comfortable and modern living spaces. As a group of designers and fabricators who are constantly thinking up the impossible, we wanted to create something which we would want to live in.

In The beginning, it was an idea to cross pollinate high volume furniture production with small scale architecture. The premise was to develop an easy to assemble kit that would pack a ton of features within a tiny space. Bunkies have long been a loophole for cottagers to add extra sleeping space to their properties without the hassle of building permits. By keeping the size under 108 square feet, within almost any region across Canada, you can erect a structure without a building permit.
We started with a model built in my garage and quickly realized it was a viable concept.

Modern. Beautiful. Modular. Honomobo.
At Honomobo this isn’t just a catch phrase, it defines everything we do.
Modern – Modern design is an all encompassing philosophy which we define in three main categories.
Beautiful – In a Honomobo we made the conscious decision to build exceptionally durable homes which run exclusively on electricity.
Modular - A modular home is built in a factory. A factory setting allows a Honomobo to be built faster, higher quality, and with less waste than a standard home.
These three principles define what we do at Honomobo.
Modern. Sustainable. Modular. Honomobo.

Proximity with the customer is one of the fundamental aspects of our creation process. From the very beginning of the design to the end of the construction, we rely on transparency and the implication of the future owners of our tiny house on wheels. In this way, our designer is able to truly understand our client’s reality. In this case, The Ébène was built for a young couple from Ontario. Their needs were clear; they wanted a tiny home with all the amenities found in conventional residential constructions. Based on that, we created a very functional space while making sure they don’t feel boxed in their home.

With a wingspan of 10.5 x 34.5 feet, The Magnolia is considered a ‘’park model’’ size tiny house. It was built to withstand northern Ontario weather and is inspired by our Ébène and Laurier models. Our clients wanted a single loft and a full height bedroom on the main floor, like featured in the Laurier. On the other hand, they also wanted to include a TV area in a ‘’bump out’’ like in our Ébène model. Since they chose a custom unit, they also wanted a unique interior design including their own ideas based on their specific needs. Working along with them, we created this one bedroom tiny house on wheels based on their requirements, keeping the Minimaliste style. Here is a more detailed presentation of this project. In this 1 bedroom tiny house on wheels, we really found our design guideline. The jointed pine for the walls and the stained knotty pine for the ceiling became standard in most of our models since then. The blend of different materials was thought out during the build, allowing us to create a product that would reflect our know-how.

Designed for a young couple, the Lilas is the first 1 bedroom tiny house on wheels installed completely legally in Quebec. Indeed, this house now has its own civic address with tax bill, proportional to the size of it. This house has been designed with our clients’ two priorities in mind: the inclusion of a specific wood fireplace, and the smallest bathroom possible to maximize space for the kitchen and living room. The interior design is reminiscent of the textures and colors of the Ébène. We actually took inspiration from some of our existing models when designing the Lilas.

With the physical restrictions of our client, the development of an ultra-functional tiny home on wheels was inevitable. We’ve managed to incorporate several systems into the interior design such as a wall-mounted foldable dining table that turns into a mirror, a custom sliding table sliding over the bed, a propane radiant floor and many others. The design of the Laurier is pure wooden luxury! We have carefully selected materials of superior quality; a modern glass ceramic kitchen backsplash, a granite sink, textured melamine panels, a hardwood countertop and thick wood shelves, etc. We took great care in every finishing aspect so the different elements blend together in the overall look.

The Acacia is a tiny house model that was designed to be inhabited year-round by a mother and her teenage daughter. An effective design, which reflects the needs of our client. This tiny house on wheels is distinguished mainly by its two closed rooms, a living room with a 3 places sofa bed, in addition to a second loft space for additional storage.

The Noyer was built in close collaboration with a client from California. This 1 bedroom tiny house on wheels is quite different from our previous projects on many levels, including the roof slope and the bedroom layout. This unit, just like all of our houses, is meant to perform as well in a Californian climate as in a northern climate such as Quebec. The Noyer is intended to be inhabited full-time by a couple or a single person. Here’s a more detailed presentation of this unique tiny home. 32×48 shower Floor storage Bedroom loft with utility platform

Our model Eucalyptus is a tiny house on wheels inspired by the Californian style. Custom built for a couple living in California, this is our second off the grid project, something we are particularly proud of. Encouraging eco-responsible development is a thought that directs several choices at Minimaliste. This tiny home model is distinguished by several points: warm color tones, functional kitchen with symmetrical lines, a small bathroom including a lot of storage, and more. We have once again respected the customer’s main needs, while bringing our “Minimaliste” touch.

The Thuya is another park model size tiny home on wheels. It was designed for a couple living on an island on the west coast of British Columbia. The overall layout is quite similar to the Saule, but the extra space allowed us to include a storage staircase along with a bigger kitchen and a dedicated space for the living area. The interior space could also fit a second loft if someone would need extra storage or sleeping capacity.

The Orme is the most recent 2 bedrooms tiny home on wheels we’ve created. It was designed for a couple living in Ontario, Canada, where winters are long and harsh. The tiny house runs on both electricity and propane, which makes it possible to connect the house with only a 30 amp cord. This model has a layout similar to the Ébène, but in a shorter and more narrow version. The exterior aspect is in line with our usual style, but the customers wanted to include a different style for the interior and we are quite pleased with the result! We were eager to design a smaller model and this 1 bedroom tiny home on wheels is a good example of the potential and viability of such dimensions. It features all the necessary elements for full-time living. Its interior design also allows our customers to work from home, which was essential for them. Here are the highlights of this small but functional model that can suit many types of people. Multi-functional living area Small footprint 8.5ft wide possibility

The Sequoia is our first tiny house on wheels model and served as a prototype, which is why it differs from all of our other models in many ways. It is characterized among other things by the lines of its roof and the location of the door. It also has a single loft that overhangs from 24in to enlarge the space to the outside of the house, without interfering with the open concept of the entrance. When entering the tiny house, the feeling of height is striking, and this is exactly the goal of this model. Indeed, the 11 ft high ceiling creates a huge space, in addition to giving the opportunity to use the top of the walls for storage in order to clear the lower space.

There are four primary types of prefab buildings. Standard prefab homes are much like stick-built homes, only built offsite. Prefab tiny homes are smaller wheeled living spaces, similar to RVs. Offices, studios, and bunkies are usually one room buildings used for work or extra sleeping, and usually don't have any plumbing. Guesthouses (or cabins, cottages, or ADUs) are similar to prefab homes but are usually made smaller to act as a second home, weekend getaway, in-law suite, or rental property. More details can be found in our Ultimate Guide to Buying a Prefab Home.
